Setpember 12, 2020 Meet will be Virtual

Unfortunately we are still stalled in the current virus situation, waiting for officials to figure out how we can get back to our life and pursuing our hobby with friends. At this time I have to report that we will not be having a live meet on September 12th. Besides the fact that many of our members fit in the higher risk category, we currently would be restricted in capacity because of Church restrictions, if we are even allowed inside by then. We will plan to have a virtual meet on Saturday, September 12, 2020, beginning at 9am. A copy of a Virtual Meet Guide will be sent with the September Newsletter. This guide was assembled by Chuck Diljak of the Garden State Division, with input from our NJD and suggestions received after the May 2020 Virtual Meet. The guide should help make everyone's virtual meet experience enjoyable. Special thanks to Chuck D. for all of his work on the guide. While we haven't been having our live meets, one of the things we have been missing out on is Model Contests. Jack Menaker and I, along with NJD Board input, will be working on options to get the contest back on track. More information will come out in an August update.
